The "WriteBot: The AI-Assisted Writing Challenge" organized by IEEE WIE Kerala Section and IEEE Malabar Hub as part of International Women in Engineering Day aimed to explore the creative potential of participants by utilizing AI as a writing tool. The competition encouraged participants to leverage AI technologies to enhance their writing skills and produce engaging, innovative, and thought-provoking written pieces.

REVAMP was conducted in two phases - both in online (REVAMP COMPETE) and offline (REVAMP) modes. It consisted of a series of events that each of six clusters had to conduct, in order to resuscitate Student Branches that are no longer taking part actively in IEEE related programmes.

DigiFemmina

The IEEE Malabar Hub initiated a workshop series called "DigiFemmina," which is being conducted in collaboration with WIE AGs under the Malabar Hub. The workshop was inaugurated on March 25, 2023, at 3 PM at Sauhruda Arts and Sports Club, Barooty, in collaboration with WIE AG LBSCEK. The objective of the program was to help women achieve digital freedom.

Branch Counselors and Chapter Advisors Meet

IEEE Malabar Hub organized the first Student Branch Counselors and Chapter Advisors meet on 12 February 2022 . It was held at 10:00 AM via Zoom Cloud Meetings. The respective SB Counselors and Advisors from various colleges under Malabar Hub participated and remarked on their presence to enrich the event. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Sabiq PV, Chair, IEEE Malabar Subsection, with his inaugural address and providing an overview of MSS Activities.

Deep Dive - A panel discussion on exploring IEEE opportunities

IEEE Malabar Hub in association with the IEEE Membership development committee of the Kerala section organized the panel discussion DEEP DIVE on 19 February 2022. It was held at 7:00 PM via Zoom Cloud Meetings. The session was intended to give an insight into the importance of being active in IEEE, how it contributes to the professional development of members and their benefits. The event kick-started with a welcome note from Ms. Aleena K Shibu, Membership development coordinator, IEEE Malabar Hub. Followed by that, she asked the speakers about their journey as an IEEE member and their interest in renewing their membership over the years.
